Winter Wonderland

Waking up to a beautiful sight like this is just breathtaking! God is a wonderful Creator!!

Let me start from the beginning of the crazy weather that's been happening around here lately. So, on February 23rd, there was lots and lots of mud. Just mud, mud, and more mud.

On the morning of the 24th, it was a very cloudy day. I went out to give the chickens their water and heard ice tinkling in the treetops. Apparently, it had rained last night, and then frozen over. Everything was covered in ice.

Later on the day, it snowed and rained. But I guess it snowed more, since next morning everything had a nice coat of snow!

And then today, I woke up to a breathtaking sight. You know that time in the morning where the sun is a deep golden? Well, I saw that gorgeous light reflect off the ice drops covering the tree branches. It  looked like someone had draped a million lights over the trees and then turned them on. It was so beautiful!

After the sun rose higher, its colour turned a bright white, and so did the trees. It was .... a winter wonderland.

Thank you God for such beautiful mornings! :)

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! :)
I LOVE comments, so please do leave one! I will try and reply as soon as possible :D If you comment under Anonymous, please leave a name (it can be made up or real, your choice ;)
Oh, and as you all probably know, my family and I are under pseudonyms (you didn’t really think I had a brother named Spiderman or Ironman, did ya? We’re weird, but not 'that' weird! :P) If you do know our real names, please don’t say it in the comment box. Public safety stuff ;) Thanks!

Finally, brothers (and sisters!), whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things
