Counting Our Blessings // Tiffany

Good morning everyone! This post is going to be a little bit more different. Partly because it's a guest post (love those! :D) and partly because our special guest is going to be doing a quick flower post at the beginning as well! For all you botanical lovers, you're going to especially enjoy this ;) Allow me to introduce to you a good friend of mine and pen-pal for more than 8 years. . . Tiffany!

Hi everyone, my name is Tiffany and thank you very much Blessing Counter for inviting me to do a guest post on your blog! I am 15 and I have been saved by the blood of the Lamb. I love classical music and I play the piano and the violin.  I also live in the country, and I have 5 sisters and 2 brothers!  This year I’ve planted some flowers in my flower garden, and I am going to tell you a bit about them. Okay, so here we go.

I started the seeds in February.  These pictures here are from the 7^th of February:

I probably didn’t start the seeds early enough.  Sorry for not being able to show the flowers for all of the plants.

Our blessing number one, would be….. FLOWERS!!!!!

Flowers are a beautiful part of God’s Creations.

Number 2 would be: MUSIC

Classical music is like a special language.

And I can’t leave number 3 out, because it would be…….  BOOKS.

Spring is Here! ...... I think

Aren't daffodils so pretty? They always remind me of spring! And the day we got them, the sky was blue, the spring peepers were peeping, the birds were chirping merrily, wildflowers were beginning to bloom, and the trees were budding. 

Lovely daffodils, don't you think? But then take in the big picture...

Lots of snow out the window!
I don't know.... do you think the background should be lots of white snow or lush green grass beginning to sprout? 

But this morning we woke up to 5 inches of snow. 

Poor wildflowers.

 Wednesday, June 3: Grass Seeds. This title doesn't seem very....satisfactory. :) (I'm not very good with titles, by the way!) The sunlight was turning into a glorious golden, and the grass made a nice picture.

Our grandparents also brought us to a horse show. It was amazing! The horses were beautiful and SO good! I wasn't allowed to take pictures during the show, so I only took them outside by the banners.

I know, I know, this isn't a real flower. But I forgot to take
a picture of a REAL flower. So I took a picture of the ...arm painting?
on Snow White. (It was supposed to be face painting, but the lady
was willing to do it on Snow White's arm instead. Isn't that lady talented
though? The flowers were soooo pretty!)

Sunday, May 31: Happy Mother's Day (?)

It's raining outside....and I can't take my camera outside. So I'll substitute with a picture
that I had made with GIMP for Mother's Day.
Note: There IS a flower! :P

Sunday, May 17: Girls' Bookshelf

Full of our favourite books. This is only a picture of the bookshelf under
Tiger Lily's loft bed, though. We've got another 3-4 shelves that reach to
the ceiling in the living room that are bursting with books. I love books so much! ;)

Monday, May 18: Studying....kinda 

Yeah, kinda. They aren't doing actual school. We were just playing pretend school.
Isn't Pretend such a fun game, though? 

Tuesday, May 19: Chopsticks 

We went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner. I took pictures before dinner, but not
during or after so...no pictures of the food :P However, I did get the darling little
"teapot" that isn't used for tea, rather, it is used for soy sauce. 

Wednesday, May 20: Swinging Over the Niagara

I mean, that's so cool, isn't it? Being able to swing over the Falls,
held on by....um....true, what is she being held by? :P

No, she isn't actually (I'm pretty sure y'all knew that already anyway),
but I forgot to take a picture for today because I was working on this
picture for my Gimp assignment. So I thought I might as well share it! :)
