Singapore - Part 4

WE WENT TO LEGOLAND!!! The buildings are unique, the statues creative, the park itself was awesome! After you look through these pictures, I'm sure you'll agree with me, this place is absolutely amazing!

This was on the front porch of the hotel at Legoland. The dragon was made out of Lego, though the men at the bottom were not.

Here Ironman is trying to figure out how this Lego chef talks by pinching its nose.

A scuba diver. Notice the serpent wrapped around his leg?

Recognize this man?

Darth Vader

Chicken Trumpeter

These little cubs were so cute!

Wolves

A strangely happy prisoner ;)

Bird Archer

Medieval Archer

I'm going to guess that this is Merlin the Wizard.

Dare Devil and Cinderella decided to try this kiddie ride. It was very cute. They would get onto a larger than normal Lego horse and ride around a track. The sun was burning hot and I think Dare Devil was feeling rather....warm :)

Here is the IMAGINATION building in Legoland.

Did I already mention that it was really hot? The imagination building was wonderfully air-conditioned and my grand-uncle and grandfather took a nice rest in a massage chair. :)

Cinderella and Cousin 3 are attempting to build a tower that can stand strong vibrations without falling over or breaking. As you can see, Cousin 3 is controlling the strength of the vibrations by a dial. And hurray for them! They did it!

Toblerone is building a...I'm not sure what. :) But his concentration is so funny and cute!

Let's see what Dare Devil and Cousin 1 is doing. Here they are constructing a race car, with Mom helping Dare Devil a bit. The object of this was to build a car that could race down a sloped track and get across the finish line. It sounds easy, but it actually wasn't. You see, your car wouldn't be the only one racing. There would be another 5-6 cars. And going down, your car would have to keep from falling apart and from catching onto someone else's car and getting stuck.

Mama Giraffe

Boy Giraffe

Girl Giraffe
(There was a Dad giraffe too, but I didn't take a picture of him)

Rhino

People

An instrumental water fountain. There was a recording somewhere that made it sound like the instruments were playing music.

Parrot

Dinosaur and Explorers

King Tut

Camel

Christmas Tree. (Sorry for the slant)

Santa and his reindeer

Santa, Toblerone, and Mom

Lego Chef

I found this picture in the...um...washroom. :P But it was really neat and I had to take a picture of it. This entire picture is made of Lego, including the frame!

Quick Side Note: I think I already said it was hot. Well, in the afternoon it was sweltering! And then there was this man in a knight costume. A very WARM costume. I don't know how he managed to stay in there!

Lego Man

A Water Ride. You get really wet on this! I passed since I wanted to take the pictures and I didn't quite like the idea of being soaked. I was wearing a very thin shirt ....
Anyway, the ride went like this. The boat would carry you up a travelator and bring you up to the top of the mountain/building. You would hang at the top for a few seconds and then whoosh down you go. At the very bottom of the slide, you hit the water hard and get a great splash of water over you.

Now for Miniland. I think this was my favourite part of Legoland. Miniland contained miniatures of countries is Asia. It was amazing! Everything was made out of Lego, except for the grass, the rocks, and the trees. (But the trees were miniature too.)

This boat was really funny. Cousin 1 showed this to me. This was significant because I am right now reading Life of Pi for English. :D

We stayed the whole day at Legoland. And I only took the entrance photo of Legoland at the end of the day. I missed it going in. :P

Goodbye Legoland!

Singpore - Part 3

I woke up at 5:50 in the morning. Still not the best time for me, but I couldn't go back to sleep. All my other siblings were wide awake too. We lazed around for awhile, then Mom, Tiger Lily, DareDevil, Toblerone, and I went to the mall and the rest went with our grand-uncle and grand-aunt to buy a Christmas tree.

DareDevil is just like me. He's a country mouse. At the mall, we had to get onto an elevator. As we were going up, DareDevil commented "Hey, this is funny! We're going up and down!"

We stopped by a shoe store and looked around. This store had these cute little squeaky sandals for toddlers like Toblerone. Mom put a pair on him and he tried walking. He took a step and squawk went the sandals. Toblerone immediately freaked out and stopped walking. :P

Then we stopped by a coffee shop and took a small snack. Coffee shops in Singapore are not like the ones that I see in Canada. Coffee shops such as Starbucks serves coffee and light snacks. But coffee shops here in Singapore are more like small restaurants! You usually eat meals there, not snacks!

This store is one of my favourite stationary stores here! They have amazing things. There was even coloured erasers in the shapes of fast food, baseballs, baseball gloves, baseball diamonds, bats,
 bowls of noodles, chopsticks, etc.

Oh yes, and then as we were walking out of the mall, we found these kiddie rides. They were really old and they only cost 20 cents! Of course, DareDevil wanted to try it! Mom suggested that we put Toblerone on too. He absolutely loved it! I have a video of him, but the computer won't let me load it.

These guys are best buddies. Where there is one, you are sure to find the other! :D

Singapore - Part 2

Our first morning in Singapore, we woke up bright and EARLY! That's the cause of jet lag, I guess. Our uncle bought us some really good jelly and we had it for breakfast. Tiger Lily also decided to have some fun with it. ;) And then she took a couple pictures of me.

Later on, our cousins came over. Just to keep things simple and keep identities hidden, let's say that the names of my cousins are Cousin 1, Cousin 2, and Cousin 3. :P

This is Cousin 2

And this is Cousin 3

Tiger Lily, Toblerone, and Cousin 3

Cousin 3 again

My grand-uncle and grandfather. Brothers!
DAREDEVIL!! :)

Singapore Trip - Part 1

Yay!!! We're in Singapore! This is the first time I've ever tried to make a long photo story of anything, so there might be a few awkward points. But just bear with me and try to ignore all my mistakes :) The scenes here are amazing and very different for me. You could say I'm like the country mouse that moved in to be with the city mouse :)

Our trip began on Thursday at 2 in the morning.

Poor Toblerone!

We went to the airport and waited until we could board the plane. Tiger Lily and I took photos of each other to pass the time.

And Toblerone wandered around with his pants hitched up :)

We had to take three planes, one to New York, another to Japan, and a final one to Singapore. I got a window seat on the first plane and took a snap or two out of the my window.

Newark Airport

These guys have been journaling about almost
everything that's been happening!

After a long 14- 15 hour flight, we reached Narita (Japan) Airport.

Toblerone was tired but still extremely active. He was very
fidgety and seemed to want to explore the entire airport!d

They boys had a wonderful view of the planes moving around the
runway and preparing to fly off.
"Look at that plane!"

I had two cameras, so I gave Ironman one of them. He took a
lot of pictures of the planes :D

One of my favorite pictures that Ironman took was this one.  He captured that bit of bright sky wonderfully!

DareDevil was stuck to the window watching the planes.

We reached Singapore at 2:30 in the morning in Singaporean time. So 1:30 in the afternoon Canadian time. Unfortunately, I was too tired to take any photos and it was really dark anyway. Mom wanted us to wear warm clothes so that we wouldn't get cold on the plane. My clothes didn't bother me until we got to Singapore. I was wearing track pants, a long sleeve shirt, socks, shoes, and a sweater. The minute we got into the Singapore airport, I started sweating. So did everyone else! :) We met Mom's brother's family and our great-uncle and great-aunt once we got through Immigration and had chased after all our suitcases ;) Then we drove home and went straight to sleep!

Sunday Songs | Rejoice

Onto Christmas songs! This song is again by Sovereign Grace :) They have so many good songs and it's wonderful listening to them!

Anyway, here's the song!

REJOICE
All the earth rejoice
Your Creator reigns
As the only awesome God
The Alpha and the Omega
Who was, is, and is to come
Let the oceans roar and the mountains sing
He provides for all He has made
So be comforted as He rules with grace
Rejoice, all the earth, rejoice

All the world rejoice
For the baby comes
As a humble prince in the night
The Word made flesh, Emmanuel
The Everlasting Light
Let the warmth of heaven reach the coldest heart
With the gospel of His grace
For His heel will bruise the serpent’s head
Rejoice, all the world, rejoice

All the church rejoice
For your King returns
On a white horse wearing a crown
He will break the sky with the angel’s shout
Descending from the clouds
Then the dead will rise from the land and sea
All His people will ascend
We will reign with Him for eternity
Rejoice, all the church, rejoice
