How To | Apple Crisp

Here is a very simple apple crisp recipe. It's really, really easy!  I'll add the whole recipe at the end of the post.

So, first you wash all your apples.

Next you peel them,

And chop them into cubes,

Then add them into a bowl with cinnamon, flour, and
a sprinkling of sugar.

Mix it all together until everything is evenly
distributed,

Then stick it into a baking pan.

Now time for my favourite part: The Crust!
First, melt your butter.

And get a cup of sugar,

and flour,

And oats,

Then dump it all into a bowl and stir.
Oh, and don't forget the baking powder
and baking soda!

When you're done, it should look like this.

Add the crust on top of the apples
(sorry, no picture)

And put it in the oven and bake at 350 degrees
for 45 minutes to an hour.

The crust should be a nice golden brown.

And you're done! Enjoy!

6 C of Apples (6 apples should be enough if they're big)
1 tbsp of flour
1 tsp of cinnamon
1 tsp of lemon juice (optional - for sweeter apples)

1 C of Oats
1 C of Flour
1 C of Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 C Butter melted

The Apples
Sprinkle flour and cinnamon over apples. For dryer apples add 1/4 C of water.

The Crust
Combine dry ingredients with melted butter and spread evenly over apple mixture.

Baking
Bake at 350F for approx 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Extra Info
Reduce amount of sugar if using sweeter apples and add lemon juice to give more tartness.

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! :)
I LOVE comments, so please do leave one! I will try and reply as soon as possible :D If you comment under Anonymous, please leave a name (it can be made up or real, your choice ;)
Oh, and as you all probably know, my family and I are under pseudonyms (you didn’t really think I had a brother named Spiderman or Ironman, did ya? We’re weird, but not 'that' weird! :P) If you do know our real names, please don’t say it in the comment box. Public safety stuff ;) Thanks!

Finally, brothers (and sisters!), whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things
